Residenza Rialto - Velence

The owners were very accomodating & hospitable. It felt like being home away from home. There was a beautiful view from the common terrace.

It was a little too close to the market, so early in the morning there was quite a bit of commotion outdoors.

very clean rooms. comfortable. great location and view. Morning breakfast was fantastic. Service was great! I broke my key off in the door and within an hour, we had a new one!

The place is new and it extremely nice. The room was big, everything was new and every detail was very tasteful. Excelent breakfast (in quantity and quality). The bathroom was shared but extremely nice too, and very big. The staff (the owner) was very friendly and nice. The location is good too, not very centric but close to the Piazza San Marco; very close to the Ponte di Rialto, near the fish and fruit market. It has a very nice kitchen you can use to make yourself a coffee or whatever you want, you can even take some wine or other more expensive sutff with a trust based system, you just leave the ammount of money that you think is fair in a can when you take something. You can have the breakfast in a very nice dinning room.

I would say nothing if we hadn't some problems communicating with the staff. The problem is, the B&B is like a house attended just by it's owner, and when she leave the house, there is nobody there. When we arrived there was nobody there and we had to wait a fair ammount of time, which was really upsetting. In case you have the same problem, you can find a public payphone in the Rialto station to call the owner (Adriana if I remember correclty). It took us a lot of time to find a way to get in touch with her. I hope they can solve this problem soon, as it probly one of the nicest places I've ever been.

No fresh bread, apparently italian law only allows packed food as breakfast (?)

The host/owner was very good at updating us with transport details prior to our arrival and was a very good host upon our arrival. Offered a friendly and personal service during our stay. The location was perfect as it was a short stroll to everywhere & is positioned overlooking the canal. Would be happy to stay there again.

The location of the place was wonderful. Breakfast was wonderful either.

Knowledge of English language is not good.

5-Star location, with bedroom and breakfast terrace on the Grand Canal lokking over to Ca d'Oro and right next to Rialto market (the shutters help reduce early morning noise). Nearby Rialto bridge and vaporetto and traghetto points makes for an excellent starting point to most interesting places. 20 minute walk to buses and trains. Large and attractive bedroom, with good bed and storage. Generous breakfast selection prepared in advance for each room individually. Room (and hot drinks) available throughout most of the day - welcome after a few hours' trudge on hard streets. Good bathroom, and sharing did not trouble us.

Steep and narrow stairs to climb over two levels.

The way that is everything in order and real clean. I will definitely will book again on my next visit.

Great host Adriana, lovely place, very familiar and, at the same time, also private. We dont have nothing bad to report. This is the best place to stay in Venezia, no doubt!!!!!

Water pressure in shower could be higher...

Fantastistic view and location - cosy and homely feeling - Kind and helpfull staff !

Absolutely everything about this b&b was amazing! Adriana, the owner, was incredibly attentive and helpful, from giving us directions to the hotel from the vaporetto to checking in on us every day to see if we needed anything. The included breakfast is great-- each room gets its own tray loaded with pastries, breads, eggs and more, plus guests have full use of the kitchen. The hotel itself is gorgeous, well-equipped, clean, quiet and has a view to die for from the rooms and terrace. The location couldn't be better: overlooking the Grand Canal, just steps from the Rialto bridge and surrounded with restaurants, cafes and nightlife. We had an amazing time and wish Adriana and her family the greatest, well-deserved success. Don't look at anywhere else to stay while in Venice…you'll only be disappointed you didn't stay at b&b Rialto instead.

The person in charge of the Bed and Breakfast Rialto was very kind and helpful. She sat down with us and had coffee while showing us the map. She was willing to help us out in anyway she could. It's on the Grande Canal with nice views.

Make sure to contact them before you arrive. We got their early and it was pouring rain. No one was there to receive us making the beginning of the trip unsatisfying. Once we found the hotel and bed the owner things did turn around and we had a wonderful stay in Venice.

Plenty of space, communal kitchen if you wanted to cook. Views from the balcony! Staff really friendly.

Very low slanted ceiling in the suite as its in the roof, not ideal for two 6' + guys! The windows also need stronger blinds to black out the light. Breakfast was ample however no fresh bread or pastries, all came pre packed.

The view of the canal out of our window was fabulous. The room was beautiful, and sharing the bathroom was no problem (there are only three rooms). The owner provided a great kitchen setup, and I loved being able to go make my own coffee whenever I wanted. Overall, I was very pleased with this place and would definitely stay again.

Finding the B&B was challenging - I definitely recommend taking the vaparetto to the Rialto bridge stop and having the owner talk you in. Once we found it, it was very easy to get back to - we chose to walk from the train station with our luggage, and it was miserable. Adriana was excellent once we (finally) arrived though!

Definitely one of the most amazing B&B! Very good location, only 2-3 minutes' walk to the Rialto bridge. The scenery in the room are quite beautiful, the balcony of the living room is just next to the canal. Adriana is very nice and helpful, the restaurants she recommended are awesome! The breakfast in B&B Rialto is quite good, the kitchen is also very nice with everything you need. The words "Take what you want, leave what you feel" is also very impressive. We'll surely choose B&B Rialto once again if we go back to Venice in the future.
